Among the numerous tragedies lately reported from tho south-western States is one of peculiar atrocity. ; A coloured boy named McTaylor, 14 years of age, had a quarrel with a white boy, McDonald, and gave him a thrashing, afterwards escaping into Arkansas. McDonald's father and some friends pursued and overtook the coloured boy, brought him back and shot him to death. The body was found on the 9th, and the bones were picked bare by the vultures.
