NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Trustees of the above district to meet in the office of the Board on Saturday, 26th August, 1882, at 7 p.m., for the purpose of STRIKING A RATE of Ninepence (9d) in the £ on all rateable property in the district, for the period from Ist April, 1882, and ending 31st March, 1883 ; and that the said Rate is made due and payable in one instalment on the 14th September, 1882, to the Collector (Mr H. HPUHIKARAMEA HIGHWAY DIS1 TRICT. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Tuhikaramea Highway District Board to meet at the School, on Monday, the 28th day of August, at 7 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of MAKING a RATE of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the rateable value of all property in the District, for the period commencing on the Ist day of April. 1882, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1883, to become due, and payable in one sum, at the residence of James Wells, the collector, (where the rate-book is open for inspection) on the 4th day of September, 1882. XT EWCASTLE HIGHWAY DIS1\ TRICT. TAKE NOTICE.— The Newcastle Highway District Board intend meeting at the Delta Hotel, Ngavuawahia, on Wednesday, August the 30th, at 12 o'clock noon for the purpose of MAKING a RATE of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the rateable value of all property in the district for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1882, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1883, saia rate to become payable in one sum on the 13th day of September to the collector, James Wells, at Mr Bailey's store, Whatawhata. "VTEWCASTLE HIGHWAY DISNOTICE. A MEETING of the Ratepayers of the above district will be held at the Delta Hotel, Ngaruawahia, on Wednesday, August 30th, at 2 o'clock, p.m. Business : To consider Mr Bomfrey's claim agaiust the District Board for compensation on account of alleged damage to his property by the action of former boards. The question of continuing or abolishing the system of Cattle Fees will also be considered. And any other business which may be brought forward. Ratepayers are particularly requested to attend.
