Alexandria, August 11, 4.25 p.m. The Duke of Connaught is inspecting the fortifications and places of interest. Prince Teck has arrived at Alexandria. The postmaster at Philadelphia has forwarded eight hundred dollars to Arabi. The Duke of Conuauglit has paid a visit to the Khedive, and reassured him as to the intentions of England. An inquiry into the effect of the bombardment of Alcxandiia is sitting. An American man-of-war is expected at Alexandria in a few days. Eight of the wounded in the recent engagement have died of their wounds. It is reported that the natives of Tripoli are menacing the safety of the European inhabitants.
