It is fully expected that it will close to-night, but' the probability is it will not be till an advanced hour of the morning. The'.p'psitioh of ttfe Government is absolutely secure ; it will go into the lobby with a majority of- from five to eight. Defections from the Opposition ranks are being rapidly made tonight.
