The natives of Cairo are opening their shops, aud apparently ignoring Arabi. Thirty -nine vessels have been chartered at Bombay for the transport of troops, and the force under Major-General Mc^herson are now embarking. , . . The reports of the repulse of the British picket is unfounded. It is reported that Arabi is shooting loyalists at Cairo. Official information states that Russia deprecates isolated action, and hopes that England will co-operate with the conference. Sir Garnet Wolseley has started for Egypt.
