CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the directors' report, including a recommendation for a ten per cent dividend, was unanimously adopted. The chairman referred to the question of a steam communication with England, said if the Government decided to subsidise such a service the company would use its best endeavours to secure it.
