Alexandra, Last Night. The arrest of Winiata, Packer's murderer, has caused intense excitement amongst the natives. His companions at the tune of his apprehension, can give little account of his capture, and most conflicting accounts aie circulated. You will, however, have received a full account by this time. The natives genelally are in no way sony he is taken, as his presence amongst them was consideied a gieat difficulty m the way of Tawhiao and the Government coming to any satisiacfcoiy agreement, Wimata'& lelations only excepted, who are fai fiom being an amiable lot, and Bdilow would not be safe among them. On Bailow leaving here this morning for Auckland, it was deemed advisable to give him an cscoit, as tin eats were reported to have been made a^dinit him.
