ALJ-ix.vxmiiA, June 17. It is estimated that notwithstanding the recent exodus of Europeans there aie still 300 British subjects in Egypt. London, June 20. In the House of Commons to-day, Sir Chas. Dilke, Under-Secretory for Foieign Affairs, in reply to a question, stated that the Conference of the Ambassadors of the European powers to consider the position of affairs in Egypt will hold its first sitting at Stamboul, on Thursday 22nd inst. Sir Charles added that no representative of Turkey would be present at the Conference.
