Mr. Kkox reports :—ln: — In consequence of the fine weather »n Saturday there was only a moderate attendance of country settlors, who were evidently taking advantage of it. The following prices were realised : Fowls from Is 4d to Is Od ; ducks, Is Od ; turkeys, none, wanted ; oats, 4s Id per bushel (middling samples)— prime, none to hand ; pigs, from 3s 6d to 16s each ; tea, 21s per box.

London markets. •*- - ~[by"'cable.] London, Tun« Oth.— The total quantity ot wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,010,000 quarters, being 10,000 quarters above the amount afloat last week.

' " LONDON WOOL MARKET. London, Tune 9th.— At to-day's wool sale 10.800 bales were offered. A firm and active demand was again experienced. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following produce telegram : — London, June 7th.— The sales progress firmly Up to date 144,000 bales have been sold. For superior clothing washed and combing washed the market remains unchanged. Scoured has advanced Jd to Id per Ib. Superior greasy (merino) has declined 2d per Jb since the close of last sales. For medium and inferior greasy the market is easier. Fine washed" cross-bred has advanced Jd to Id per lb. For fine greasy croisbred the market is firmer. For coarse washed cross-bred ' and coarse greasy cross-bred the market is unchanged. London, Tune 10.— An active demand for most descriptions of wool was experienced at to-d.iy's auction, the catalogue comprsed 9000 bales.
