The Egyptian Difficulty.

Alexandria, June 9. Dervish Pasha and the other members of the Turkish mission to Egypt have been received by the Khedive. At interviews which have taken place Dervish Pasha has spoken firmly with regard to the intention of the Porte for the settlement of the present crisis in Egypt, but has not yet indicated whether any further steps will be taken.

Constantinople, Jime 8. Negotiations are still proceed ing in regard to the proposed conference on the Egyptian question. The porte is adopting a firm attitude of objection to the proposal, on the ground that its mission to Egypt will succeed in effecting everything that is necessary in the settlement of the crisis.
