The Australian Cricketers. London, June 6.
The cricket match at Bradford between the Australian team and 18 of Yorkshire, was commenced to-day. The Australians went first to the wickets, and were all put out for 128. Murdoch was caught for 41 ; his play * was much admired, and although the bowling of tfie Englishmen was dead on the wicket and their fielding excellent, he did not give a single chance. ( The home team then went in for their first innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had scored 100 runs for the loss of 4 wickets, Lockwood contributing 44. The weather was fine, the attendance enormous, and great interest taken in the match.
