Several unimportant bills were introduced and read a first time. On Mr Hart's motion a return was ordered, showing the number of cases in which decliudtionb of insolvency were filed iv the Supreme Court in each of the years 1878 and 187!); in how many cases ) an accountant in bankruptcy was nominated trustee ; iv how many cases the net , proceeds of the estate have been paid to the insolvent, and in how many cases a certificate lias been filed in Court under clauses 17!) and ISO ot the Debtors and Creditors Act, 1876.
