HIGH JINKS AT BOROUGH COUNCIL.

At 12.55 a.m. the adjournment of the meeting was moved, but it was ruled out of order. At 1.4.1 a.m. it was suggested that oysters should be procured for the reporter, but this was not earned out, and numerous expedients were lesorted to in the hope of slipping Councillor i Hatch, but in vain. He continued to do so until 5.40 a.m., when, tbcie being no hope ot other membcis aiming and so altering the result, sc\oi;il councillois lifted their their hats from the rack and bilently stole aw ay. The meeting then closed for want of aquoium, and Councilloi Finn will have to give a ficsh notice of motion.
