WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office until Noon of THURSDAY, the loth June, 1882, for SUPPLYING, DELIVERING, and STACKING, at any Railway Station between Helena ilk 1 , Auckland and Te Awamutn, FIFTY THOUSAND RAILWAY SLEEPERS. Tenders will be received for the whole number, or for any number not less than 500. The Sleepers may be either Puriri, Totara, or Kauri. Specifications and Conditions of Contract can be &cen at this office ; at the Public Works Offices at Hamilton, Kawakawa, and Whaugarei ; at the Railway Stations at Helensville and Pukekohe ; and at the Warden's Office, Thames. Tenders must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Woiks, Auckland, and marked outside, "Tender for Railway Sleepers." The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
