50,000 Railway Sleepers Contract.

Public Works Office, Auckland, 25th May, 1882. WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office until Noon of THURSDAY, the 15th June, 1882, for SUPPLYING, DELIVERING, and STACKING, at any Railway Station between Helens\ille, Auckland and Te Awamutu, FIFTY THOUSAND RAILWAY SLEEPERS. Tenders will be received for the whole number, or for any number not less than 500. The Sleepers may be either Puriri, Totara, or Kami. Specifications and Conditions of Contract can be seen at this office ; at the Public Works Offices at Hamilton, Kawakawa, and Whangarei ; at the Railway Stations at Helensville and Pukekohe ; and at the Warden's Office, Thames. Tenders must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Auckland, and marked outside, " Tender for Railway Sleepers." The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
