CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night.
Another attempt at burglary was marie at Avondale last night. The burglars were fired at twice, but escaped unhurt. The evening train from Oamaru, yesterday evening, ran into a trolly containing three railway employes. One man escaped unhurt, while the other two, Harris and Han ley, were apparently much hurt, suffering one more and the other less fiom severe concussion of the brain. Over 600 children attended the Exhibition to-day, accompanied by the Burnshaw Bond. The Mayor provided lunch at the Exhibition. , >-j
