Programme : Handicap Hurdles, of 25 soys. Distance two miles over 8 flights of hurdles, 3ft 6in high. Nomination, 1 soy. ; acceptance, 1£ soys. Maiden Plate, of 15 soys., for horses that have never won an advertised race of 10 soys. Distance, 1^ miles. Entrance, 1 soy. Weight for age. Maiden Steeplechase, of 15 soys., for horses that have never won an advertised Steeplechase. Distance, about 2 miles, over a fair hunting country. Weights : 3yrs, Bst ; 4 yrs, lOst ; oyrs, lOst 81bs ; 6yrs and aged, list 41bs. Te Awamutu Cup (Handicap), of 40 soys, with silver cup added, presented by Mr Lewis. Distance, 2 miles. Nomination, lsov ; acceptance, 2sovs. Maiden Maori Race, of 3 soys. Distance. 1 mile. Catch weights. Entrance, 10s. Maori riders. Waikato Stakes (Handicap), of 15 soys., for horses the bonajide property of Waikato settlers for three months prior to race meeting. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, 10s, acceptance, 1 soy. Publican's Purse (Handicap), of 20 soys. Distance, 1£ miies. Nomination, 15s ; acceptance, 1 soy. Weight 11 to be declared immediately after the Waikato Stakes is run, Selling Hack Race, of 10 soys. Winner to be sold for 15 soys. Surplus, it any, to go to the race fund. Distance, 1 mile. Weight, lOst. Post Entries, 13s. Consolation Handicap, of 10 soys, for all beaten horses during the meeting. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, 10s.; acceptance, 10s. 10 per cent of all stakes (excepting Hack, Maori and Consolation Races) to go to second horse.

Rules and Regulations. Nomination Fee to be forwarded, with colors of the rider, age, name, pedigree and colour of horses, to the, Secretary, Te Awamutu, not later than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 May, 1882. Weights will appear in the The Waikato Times ot Saturday, May 13th, 1882. Acceptance money payable on night of general entry, at 8 p.m. Wednesday, 17th May, 1882. The Rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. No entries will be received except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections aiising, shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protects must be accompanied by a deposit of 2sovs., which will be forfeited to the fund should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous. First race to start at 12 sharp : halfhour interval between each race. All persons entering horses must be subscribers of at least 10s to the funds. R. W. ROCHE, Hon. Sec.
