London, May 19. Ik the cricket match which is now proceeding at .Brighton, between the Aus tralians and the Sussex eleven, the former have concluded their innings for a total of 643. May 20. In the cricket match, the Australians v. Sussex, at Brighton, the latter in their second innings scored 193, and the Australians thus vi on the match by one innings and 355 runs to spare. Palmer and Garret bowled splendidly for the Australians. The Tuna, to-day, in a leading article, hails the cricketers to England, and sajs that their success should stimulate Englishmen to improve their play. Later. The following are the remainder of the scores of the Australians in the Sussex match :-- -Murdoch, bowled, 286 ; Foran, caught, 51 ; McDonnell, bowled, 11 ; Griffin, caught, 74 ; Jones, caught, 5 ; Garrett, bowled, 9 ; Palmer, bowled, 28 ; Spofforth, caught, 8. Murdoch batted splendidly for 286, and only gave one chance during the innings.
