TjONdom, May 19. The Repression Bill (Ireland) was read a second time by a majoiity of 46 in the House of Commons. In tlio course of the debate which took place, Mr Gladstone stated that the piovisious of the Bill had been long planned by the Government, and were not merely intended as an act of resentment for the murder of the Irish secretaiies. It is announced that the Right Hon. John Whittaker Kllis, Lord Mayor of London, is to receive the honour of baronetcy. The election which lias taken place for the member for the northern division of the "West Riding of Yorkshire, in the room of the late Lord Cavendish, has resulted in the return of Mr Holden, Liberal, by a majoiity of 2000 over the Hon. Charles Galliorne Hordy. second son of Viscount Cranbrook, Conservative. , Vienna, May 18. " Intelligence to hand reports that 10,000 starving refugee Jews are now encamped near Kiodytown, on the Polish frontier of Galicia (Auatiia). The greatest destitution is reported to exist among them.
