CAMBRIDGE TO WN DISTRICT.
From the following telegram which has been received by the chairman of the Cambridge Town Board, it will be seen that little now remains to be done towards constituting Cambridge a town district under the Act of 1881 : —
Wellington, 4th May, Thomas Wells, Esq , Cambridge. Proclamation constituting Cambridge Town District is with His Excellency at Christchurch for signature, and will probably be here in time for Gazette this day week. G. S. Coopi r.
