rpo LET— House, Building, Paddocks, JL on Mr Fanthams late homestead, Cambridge. — Apply J. Forrest.
[CIRCULAR.] Hamilton, April 14th, 1882. TO THE INHABITANTS OF CAMBRIDGE AND SURROUNDING DISTRICTS. —I,' W. H. Kelly, of Hamilton, Carrier and so forth, beg to state that I am prepared to cart goods, per ton, from Hamilton Station to Cambridge cheaper than it is' now done by steamer from Ngaruawahia ; and that I will guarantee prompt and safe delivery at once, if supported. You may say the thing is impossible : that I cannot carry goods as cheap as'steamer ; so I will enter into figures to show that I can. Now, ' up to the present,' the through rates from Ngavuawahia to Cambridge have been : Class A 19s, B 195,, C 18s, D 17s; and E 13s; and add cartage to this it will make it over £1 a ton. Now, lam prepared to cart it at £1 per ton, and, if I get a load back, half 'price. And, as I 1I 1 am in constant communication with the Railway Station, and know most of its regulations regarding freight and so forth, you may rely on your interests being looked after, J and on no account will you be charged with storage, as I will pay it, if any demands are made re above. I may also say that I am getting a spring trap built 1 and a waggon, which will be ready in a few days, and as Ihave two drays also I will guarantee to deliver 20 tons per week. The 'railway rates to Hamilton have now been lowered, so that there is little difference between it and Ngarua- f wahia, on some classes only 13d per ton. .
