Mr Alhrbd Bucklanb's Webkly'Report.— it the Haymarket on April 14, fodder was in ill supply, and brought from 2s <5d to 4s 6d per wt ;small loads, 20s to 34s ; straw, 17s to 34s or load. The horse market was Well filled with orses, the majority of which were of a good sort, "he bidding was brisk throughout the sale, and large number changed hands at satisfactory rices. Active medium draught brought from "17 10s to L2O; light harness horses, £10 to ;i5 ; hacks, £$ to £14 10s. The racehorses Te Zhctu and Amazon were passed in, not bringing ie owner's reserve. At tho Haymarket, on 'ucsday, hides were in full supply, and steady emand. Prices ranged from 3;{d to 4 3-i6d the >, Sheepskins were in moderate supply, and inged from is to 3s id each ; greasy wool, from Id to 7 9-i6d the lb.j tallow, 23s to 25s 3d the wt. At Pokeno, on Monday last, there was a irger muster of cattle than usual, of all desriptions. Buyers were present, and all sold •eely at satisfactory prices. In future this sale rill be held monthly, on the Mondays before the )rurysale. At Drury, on Wednesday, a less umber of cattle were yarded than usual; 220 cad sold. Bidding was brisk throughout, and ite values fully sustained. At Remuera, on Tiursday, dairy cattle were numerous. Inferior nimals were at lower values than of late, but ood cattle ranged at Irom £y to £10 each, tore cattle in usual number, and at better alucs. Fat cattle in full supply,—nearly 200 cad sold. Prices regular throughout tho sale, trying with quality and sex from 20s to 23s the >olbs. Sheep were in full numbers, and the tmroved values of lastweckwecksustained. Prices rere close on 3d per lb. Lambs in limited numcr, and from 12s to 15s each. MIiSSRS. HUNTHtt AND NoLANs WkKKLY ReOrt.—Horses : A large number h«i\ c been rought forward, and ior heavy draught stock lerc was brisk demand. On Friday the Duram Yards were completely filled, and there was first-rate attendance of buyers, the principal ttraction being a shipment of horses from [awera and Wanganui. Prices for weedy hacks ad a downward tendency, but good upstanding arses were well competed for, as were also oung draught stock.
