St. Petersburg, April 14. 'A rumour is current/here to the effect that the mine which was intended „-to be exploded at the forthcoming coronation of the Czar,- has been' discovered under the cathedral at Moscow. It is further stated that eighty arrests have been made in consequence of the discovery. -'-

London, April 14. Mr Shiel, a Parnellite, has been re turned unopposed for the Meath constituency, in place of Davitt, whose election in Febrnary was declared void. "Her Majesty the Queen has arrived at Windsor Castle from Mentone, where she has been staying for the benefit of her health.

Vienna, April 14. The Austrian delegations opened today. In his address on the occasion, the President, referring to the disorder in the Southern Provinces, expressed a hope that the Province of Bosnia would eventually be absorbed into the Austco-Hun-gavian Empire.

London, April 13. Political meetings have recently been held. At Liverpool, to-day, the Marquis of Salisbury and Sir Stafford Northcote continued their onslaught upon the policy of the Government in vigorous speeches.

Coronation of the Czar. St. Petersburg, April 13. A proclamation issued to-day, announces that the coronation of His Imperial Majesty Alexander 111. will be celebrated at Moscow in August next, and commands all dignitaries of the empire to attend the ceremony.
