It is proposed to erect, at Ngaruawahia, a Fellmongery (site yet to be chosen by the Directors), suitable to treat all tlie skins procurable in, the Waikato and other districts. The position of Ngaruawahia is most suitable for a business of this kind, having such communication by rail, river and roads, the water of the Wai pa river also being considered of the best quality for the purpose. It is proposed, when the Fellmongery has been made a success, to further extend the Company's operations by erecting a Soap and Candle Factory,' as the business of Fellmougery and Soap and Candle works are twin sisters. 1 It, is also intended to extend the business still further by adding a tannery, after the former has been properly established, and to follow with a wool-scouring business. This is considered to be the beginning of a'number of industries ill Ngaruawahia, which necessarily must follow, and which • will greatly assist the farming industry, and cause all the land in the neighbourhood to be put under cultivation and made . remunerative. ' ■ > ' 1 ' } It is anticipated that 2,000 shares will be taken up 1 by local settlers. ■ -Shares will be procurable from Messrs J. S. Edgecumbe, Hamilton ; E. •L. Hope, Alexandra ; R. W.
