TO CONTRACTORS. Waitoa Drainage Works.— Contract No 9npHE Auckland Agricultural Company, J. Limited, will receive tenders for this work at Fen Court, Cambridge, until noon of Saturday, loth April, 1882. NOTICE. WHEREAS certain public works, that is to say, the construction of the Hamilton Branch extension, Hamilton Railway Bridge, and Waikato contracts on the Waikato-Thames Railway, have been authorised, and the land for the same taken by proclamation. Now, I, John Hall, the Minister acting for the Minister for • Public Works, do hereby publicly notify that I appoint the Public Works Office, at Auckland, to be the office at which persons claiming compensation for laud takeu for, or otherwise affected by, the said public works shall serve their claims, pursuant to "The Public Works Act, 1876," and Acts amending the same.
