HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Hekby Reynolds to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of five Commissioners for the Town District of Alexandra, as constituted under "The Town Districts Act, 1881 ;" also to appoint Friday, the 14th April, 1882; as the day, and the Public Hall, Alexandra, as the place, for such first elections ; also to appoint Friday, the 21st April, 1882,' at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at the said Public Ball, Alexandra, to be the time and place for the first meeting of the said Commissioners.
