AUCKLAND, Last Night.
The ship Oxford arrived from London to-day, with several passengers. The Asteroid, yacht, has arrived, in command of its owners, who are making a tour of the world. The Board of Education has resulted : —J. M. Clark, 95; R. Laishley, junr., 92 ; Moss, 88 ; McKenzie, 72 ; Peacock, 60; Thomas, 14; Boardman, 6. The first three are elected. Out of a total of 165 committees, 144 exercised the power of voting.
