Melbourne, Yesterday. Earl Kimberley has telegraphed to the Governors of Victoria and South Australia, expressing the Queen's cordial appreciation of the telegrams recently forwarded conveying congratulations Hpon Her Majesty's escape.
Adelaide, Yesterday. It is announced that Mr Hooke, of the Christchurch Museum, has been appointed curator of the Adelaide Museum, vice Mr Waterhonse, resigned.
Sydney, Yesterday. Arrived, last night : Union Company's s.s. Wakatipu, from Wellington. Brisbane, Yesterday. The racing stud of the late Sir Joshua Bell, has been sold for £10,000.
