PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. npHE Kirikiriroa Highway District X Board having resolved to take the lands undermentioned for public roads, plans and particulars may be inspected at the residence of the undersigned for forty days from the date hereof, during which time objections m writing may be m.ulc to the Kirikiriroa Highway Board, addressed to the Chairman, Kirikiriroa, Land to be taken jfor roads under provision contained in" sec. 21 " Public Works Act, 1876." Schedule :
1. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 9 acres, 2 loods, 1 perch, more or less, situated in the parishes of Komokorau and Kirikiriroa, and being a portion of allotment 220, the property of Kipeka Nga Hiwi, of the former parish, and of land the property of the Waikato Land Association, in the latter parish. 2. That piece of land in the parish of Taupiri, lacing a portion of allotment 96, the property of Mr James Hemy Smith, containing 3 roods 16 perches. A poition of allotment 97, the property of the Waikato Laucl Association, containing 2 acres, 1 rood, 15 perches, and part of allotments 192 193, parish of Komokoiau, the pioperty of Mr E. C. HHHE Waikato County Council having X resolved in accordance with provisions contained in section 21 of the " Public Works Act 1876," to take land hereunder described for a new road, a > plan and accurate description may be inspected at the Waikato County Council office for forty clays fiom the date hereof, during which time objections in writing may be addressed to the Chairman Waikato County Council, Kirikiriroa. Pchi:dulk : 1. All that parcel of land the property of Mr W. Atkins, containing 4 acres 2 roods 34 perches, portion of Lot 26, parish of Taupiri, Outlying District of Rangiriri. 2. That piece of land the property of Mr Win. Diggles, containing 1 acre 3 loods and 6 peichcs, situated in the same parish and district and being a portion of allotment 25. JAS. NAVAL AND MILITARY AND LOCAL FORCES LAND CLAIMS COMMISSION. The Commissioners hereby give notice to all persons who claim Grants of Land, or remission money in the piu chase of land, for Military Services under the various Acts, Ordinances, and Regulations, or other laws now or in time past m force in the Colony, that CLAIMS must be forwarded on or before the 31st day of March next, andshouldbe addressed to the Officers commanding the Militia and Volunteers of the Provincial Distiicb in which the claimants reside, and must furnish the following information :—: — 1. The Rank, Name, Corps, or Company of the Claimant. 2. The Act, Ordinance, or other Regulation under which the Claim is preferred. 3. The amount of Land or Remission Money claimed. 4. If a Soldier, his period of service and date of discharge fz-om Her Majesty's Service. If a member of the Local Forces, his period of Service and date of entering or quitting his Corps, aud the number of months, if any, during which he was actually engaged against the Queen's enemies. 5. Whether Claimant has ever made a previous application of a similar character, and, if so, when, and to whom ? 6. Whether Claimant has already received a grant of land or remission of purchase-money on account of any Military services. 7. Present address of Claimant. Forms of application may be obtained from Officers commanding Districts, but need not necessarily be used. The Commissioners also give notice that they will sit at Wellington to hear and consider any Claims that may be brought before them imtil the 16th day of March next, and at Auckland commencing on Monday, the 20th March ; and due notice will be given of the times and places when and where other sittings will be held. Claimants are not required to attend in person, unless summoned by the Commissioners to give further evidence or explanation of their Claims. Dated at Wellington this 27th day of Februaiy, 1882. T.
