TE AROHA.

Mr Kkniuck R.M.. held a court here on the 27th Feb. The following are a few of the principal matters adjudicated on :—: — D. J. Frazer v George Edgecumbe. This was a claim for wages for work done in the Homeward Bound claim. Mr F. A. Whi-taker appeared for defendant, the evidence went to show that the defendant had sued the wrong person. Non-auited with costs. — Parata v Karaka. This was a case of disputed ownership of a, horse which had been exchanged for an interest in a claim. Mr Campbell, solicitor, appeared for Parata. Mr Pucky interpreted. After hearing the evidence, judgement went for the value of the horse, £20, with costs 10s and solicitor's fee £1 Is.— John McSweenie v C. Jenkins. Claim for wages. Jenkins admitted the claim, but had given an order on A. Porter for the amount which had been accepted as payment. Non-suited with costs 11s. Some of the big panes of glass suffered considerably.
