Tiie four highest aggregates for tho Carbine Belt are — Gordon (Thames), 210, who takes the belt, the association's gold star, and £15 ; Perry (Wanganui), 208, the association's silver star, and £7 10s; HoAvie (Waverley), 204, the association's silver star and £5 ; Parslow, 203, £2 10s ; Davy and Francis, of Wellington, tied Parslow, but the latter wins by making the highest scrore in the last match. The following are the principal prize takers in the Union Match :—: — Churton (Wanganui), 87 ; Purnell (Wanganui), 85 ; Randall (Wellington) 83 ; Ballinger (Wellington), 84 ; Gordon (Thames), 83 ; Garry (Napier), 81. On Wednesday night a meeting of members of the association was held, when the proposal of the committee to recommend the Council to take into consideration the question of making the annual meeting of the association moveable in lieu of the present arrangement was adopted, the proposition being supported almost unanimously.
