DARGAVILLE, Last Night.

It rained heavily yesterday atternoon, and commenced again this morning. The races ai'e postponed till to-morrow. The township is full to overflowing. Several steamer loads from the lower township arrived this morning, and 100 were put up at Raynes' hotel last night. The betting is pi'incipally in doubles on the Cup and Hurdles. Dewdrop and Nor M, 7 to 1; Dewdrop and Matau, 7 to 1; Dewdrop and IlarUaway, 4to 1. Maid of Honor had a nasty fall, while going full gallop on Monday. It is predicted that the attendance will not be so large as in former years.
