■DIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL. Tenders. Tenders will be received till Noon of THURSDAY, March 2nd, for a SIX FEET ROAD up Waiorongomai, about 1£ miles. Specifications and conditions can be seen at Nottingham Castle Hotel, Morrinsvilie, Missen's Hotel, Waihou, and at my office, Te Aroha, on MOJNDAY, 27th February Tenders to be addressed, " The Chairman, Piako County Council, Cambridge," and marked outside " Tender for Road, Te Aroha." CAMBRIDGE-TAURANGA ROAD VIA KAIMAI. HHENDERS are invited by the Piako X County Council for the erection of a single-truss Bridge over the Waihou River at the present crossing on the above road. Tenders (which -will close at 6 p.m. on the seventeenth day of March) must be marked " Tenders for Bridge," and addressed to the Chairman Piako County Council, Cambridge. IN ACCORDANCE with Section 4, Bub-section (l>) of "The Public Works Act, 1880," Public Notice is hereby given that the District Board proposes to ALTER THE ROAD between Lots 312 and 313, in the Parish of Mangapiko, and that the plans of the proposed alterations are now open for-public inspection at the residence of the undersigned, at Te Rore. HAMILTON HIGHWAY DISTRICT. Public Notification. AT a meeting of Ratepayers of the above District, held at the Hamilton Highway Board's Office on the 12th November, it was resolved to close a load between allotments 50, 51, and 52, 53 in the Parish of Te Rapa, and to take land with consent of owner for a new road, and at a meeting of Ratepayers of the above district, held on the 26th November it was resolved to close a part of a road between allotments No. 121, 127, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133 in the Parish of Te Rapa, and to take land with consent of owners, for a new road. The Waipa County Council having confirmed and approved of the action of the Ratepayers of the above District at a meeting held on the 10th January, 1882, in terms of sedV^subsecfcion'^h) of the Public Works Act, 1880, I now declare the said roads to haye r been lawfully stopped, and that- they shall henceforth cease to be Public Highways.
