Mr Ai.ired Auckland 1 !. Weekly Report.— At the Haymarket, on Feb. 10, fodder was plentiful, and brought from is gd to 4s per cwt.; small loads, 16s to 355, and straw, 13s to 22s per load . Horses were yardod in large numbers, and those of a good stamp in all classes bi ought good price;.— very few being passed. .Superior heavy draught colts brought from £33 10s to £35 10s ; medium colts, £23 10s ; light medium colts, £8 15s to ,£l5 ; light harness horses, £10 to £17 ; and and hacks, £5 to £13 10s. At the Ilaymarket, on Tuesday, hides ranged from 3] to 4d ; pelts, from 5d to iod ; sheepskins, liom is 3d to 4s 8d each ; tallow, 23s 6d and 24s the cwt. A greater niimbei of bales of wool than usual were sold, and late values wcie obtained. Wool, in grease, brought from 7 |d to BdJ 15-iuths; lambs' wool, 7^(l the lb. At the Pokeno sale, on Monday last, a larger than average snpply of cattle were bi ought forward ; there was also a fuller attendance of buyers, and satisfactory prices were obtained. At Drury, on Wednesday, there was the largest muster of stock hitherto yarded, and a very numerous attendance. Bidding was biisk, and very few remained unsold. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle wcic in modeiate number, and at late values. Store cattle dull of sale. Fat cattle in less than average supply ; 120 head yarded. Prices were irreguiai, but on the whole higher, and ranged from 22s to 2";s the loolbs. Stoic sheep plentiful, and in good inquiry. Fat sheep weie also in full numbers, and barely maintained last week's values. Wethers ranged from us to 16s each, and well-bred store pigs were in demand at good values. Mlssrs. Hunter and Nolans Wi.ckly Rlpoiti.—Horses: Thcic has been no noteworthy alteration m the m.nket. A steady demand has e\istcd, and a laigcr numbei would have found purchasers. An average number were submitted by auction at the Durham Yards, on Friday. Ihe demand wesgood , lots were cleared, and several more could have been placed at prices in favour of vendor, as compared with the previous week. We quote— Hacks, fretn £6 to Ll4 10s ; light draught horses suitable for heavy spring carts, LiO and L 25. Cattle : A good many have changed hands at about the previous week's quotations. On Tuesday the Newmarket Yards were well filled with all descriptions of stock. Mr Finches dany largely increased the number of milch cows. Prices were sustained, although vendors would have been better satisfied with an advance. Stores maintained the rise previously experienced at the up country sales. Fat beasts wero in average supply, and sold at from 18s to 23s per roolbs. Sheep have been very plentiful; but the demand has been steady, and although the Newmarket Yards were quite full, lots were cleared. Lambs were also plentiful, and sold at from 6s 6d to us cjd.
