London, February 6,— Consols unchanged, at qg|. New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations :— The 5 per cent, loan is 104^ ; the 5 per cent. 1889 loan is io<)£ ; the 4£ per cent. 1879 1904 loan is ioij. The market rate of discount has advanced to 3 i per cent. ; the bank rate is 6. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, has declined to 55s ; New Zealand ditto remains at 52s ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is 48s. Australian Tallow.— Best beef, 42 ; best mutton, 48s per cwt. A small portion of the cargo of frozen mutton brought by the steamship Cu/co was sold by auction to-day, and realised an average of 6d per lb. The remainder is being landed at the Pool. The meat is considered^ to have been bably prepared for shipment. The total stock of tallow in London on the Ist instant, was 5500 casks.
