London, Jannary 27.—Cousols remain at 100 J. New Zealand Securities.—The 5 per cent 10-40 loan is 104^; the 5 per cent 1889 loan is 104; the i\ per cent 1879-1904 loan is lotj. The market for colonial breadstuff's is firm at the following quotations :—Adelaide wheat, ex store, is 57s ; New Zealand wheat, ex store, is 525; Adelaide flour, ex store, is 435. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,760,000 quarters. Australian tallow is firm at 42s for best beet, and 48s Gifor best mutton. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £11,000,000. There is a good demand for hides,and prices are Jd higher.
