THAMES VALLEY AND ROTORUA RAILWAY. The undersigned is authorised to offer a premium of five hundred pounds to any one who can point out a route by which the length of that section of the above Railway extending between Okoroire and Rotorua may be materially shortened, as compared with a route via Kokoko. Such route to have curves not less than five chains in radius, and gradients not steeper than 1 in 40, with works practicable in the opinion of the Directors. Any route so proposed must be cut and a magnetic traverse plotted.
