CORRESPONDENCE. CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Looking over your issue of Tuesday last I was pleased, on reading a communication from " Paterfamilias," to see that the people of Cambridge were bent on having some sort of a recreation ground. At present there is no place to stroll in on an evening, or a Sunday afternoon, unless along a dusty road, where one is generally subjected to wading through clouds of dust raised by passing vehicles and horsemen. By converting that part of the domain reserve which you drew attention to some time ago, into a suitable retreat, the Domain Board would be discharging a worthy duty to the public. They should consequently bestir themselves in the matter, and see to having it done immediately. — Yours, &c, Old Resident.
