CRICKET.— ALEXANDRA Y. CAMBRIDGE.

A match between the Alexandra and Cambridge Clubs wasplayedattheformer place on Monday. Cambridge showed up four men short, only having seven men to bat. The difference in the fielders was made up by the local team. As will be seen by the annexed score the match was a tame Q)*(|*Juid Alexandra only winning by one ruijf and indeed this was only found out some time after the match, thescorer having declared a tie. The visitors were afterwards entertained by the local team at luncheon at the Alexandra Hotel. The game was a pleasant one, and at its conclusion the usual compliments and cheers were most heartily exchanged.
