A LEXANDRA TOWNSHIP HIGHJ\. WAY DISTRICT. TAKE NOTICE.— The Valuation List for the Alexandra Township Highway District for the year 1882 is now open for inspection at Mr Hill's Store, Alexandra. All objections thereto must be left at Alexandra, on or before the 15th day of February, addressed to the Assessment Court ; and a copy of every such objection must be left at Alexandra Postoffice, not less than seven days before the next sitting of the said Court. MANGAPIKO HIGHWAY DISTRICT. TAKE NOTICE.— The Valuation List for the Maugapiko Highway District, is now open for inspection at the residence of the undersigned. All objections thereto must be left at Paterangi, on or before the 15th day of February, addressed to the Assessment Court, and a copy of every such objection must be left at Paterangi School-house, not less than seven days before the next sitting of the said Court. /CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT HIGHKJ WAY BOARD. Notification of the Valuation List. TAKE NOTICE. -The "Valuation List for the Cambridge Highway District, for the year 1882-83, is now open for inspection at the Store of Messrs Clarke and Gane. 'Cambridge. All objections thereto must be left at Hautapu School House, where Assessment Court will be held, on or before the 15th day of February, addressed to the Assessment Court, and a copy of every such objection must be left at Mr Clarks, addressed to the Valuer, not less than seven days before the next sitting of the said court. NEW ZEALAND. HOT LAKES DISTRICT, NORTH ISLAND. Sale of Leaseholds for Ninety-nine Years in the Township of Rotorua. ABOUT 125 ACRES of the new Township of Rotorua, near the Maori Settlement of Ohineimitu, will be offered for Lease by Public Auction on the 7th MARCH, 1882, at the CROWN LANDS OFFICE, AUCKLAND. The Business Sites will comprise quarter-acre and the Villa Sites half-acre lots. A few Suburban Lots of 5 acres and 10 acres each, and Small Farms varying from 40 to 60 acres, will also be offered. The lots as marked on the plan will be let on lease for ninety -nine years, under arrangements made by the Government of New Zealand with the propi-ietors of the soil. The letting will be by auction, at the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, in Auckland, on the 7th of March, 1882. Rents will be payable half-yearly, the first half-year being paid on the day of sale. All mineral waters, hot springs, and streams are, and remain vested in the Crown. The reserves for schools, post office, telegraph office, railway, hospital, and other public objects will be shown on the maps oil the day of sale. The recreation-grounds will be reserved for the public, and will be under the management of a local body. There will be a resident medical officer, appointed by the Government. The government of the town will be by a local body constituted under "The Thermal Springs District Act, 1881." Some of the building sites, peculiarly suitable for residences, will be let subject to restrictions as to use for trades or shops. The hotels and lodging-houses will be governed by regulations suitable to the exceptional character and requirements of the town. Rents will be paid half-yearly, in Auckland, or in the town as may be found convenient. Possession of the land will be given immediately after the auction. The lots may be now identified on the ground by marked pegs. The use of the waters, and all similar arrangements will be under the control of the doctor and a local body. Copies of the plans and full printed particulars can be seen at any Post or Telegraph Office, Railway Station, and Athenaeum, or they can be obtained from any Commissioners of Crown Lands at any Land Office in the Colony. Rangiaohia Found. IMPOUNDED on 13th January, 1882, by Mr S. Thrope, one red-aud-white BULL, straight horns, no brand visible, for trespassing on his farm, Alexandra Road, and damages claimed thirty shillings ; and in default of being released the above Bull will be sold at the public pound, Te Awamutu, on Saturday, 28th January, 1882, at noon.
