Horses to take their age from first August. Nominations for Handicaps to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Friday, January 27. 18S2, at 8 p.m. Entries for Maiden Plate, President's Stakes, Maiden Steeplechase, and Flying Stakes close on Friday, February 10, at 8 p.m. Weights' will be published on Friday, February 3. Acceptances and general entries will be received up to Friday, February 10, at 8 p.m. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse, and colours of rider. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with carrying out of this piogramme shall be iinal. All races to be run under the V.R-C. Rules. Any Jockey liding except in the colors enteied will be fined 3-.evs. No entiy will bo received on any pretence whatever after the hour named or without beiug accompanied by the nvcjs.sari/ amount of tush. All pei>ons intending to withdraw horses arc lcque&ted to give notice to that eflect to the Secretary or the Clerk of the Scales one half-houi befoie btditing. Any pei&on neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding ftsovs. to the Race Fund. All piotusts must be accompanied with adepo&it ofosovs., which sum will be forfeited to the Race Fund if the protest is not biibtaincd.
