Miissks Mort & Co. report under date December , 18th :— Wool : We held two large sales again since the date of our last report, and sold over 3000 bales at the following range of values : — Greasy fleece, faulty 7£d to B^d j fair to good g^d to ioAd ; good to superior to£d to I2jd ; washed fleece, faulty i<}4d to i6d ; medium to good >7d to igjdpcrlb. Of scoured no superior lines were brought forward There is a strong demand by American and French buyers, and whore owners arc preparded to accept iair values, business is readily done. Faulty parcels are somewhat more difficult to quit, but even for these values die \ery full. Sheepskin!,: We cleared a good catalogue yesterday at up to 6jd for average lots. Leather . At the sales this week prices were without improvement. Quotations : — Sole 7^d to 9^d ; harness lid to 1 2<1 ; kip 13d to 15c! ; tweed iBd to 2od; calf 2od to 26d per lo. ; bag 8"! to us per side ; basils 6s to lis per dozen. Tallow : At die sales to-day a large quantity changed hands tor export at an advance of about Li (une pound) per ton on last week's rates. Quotations .— Heef L2B 10s to L 29 10s ; mutton L2Q 15s to L3t io->; and mixed L2l to L 27 per ton. Hides: The prices realized at the sales to-day were about equal to last week's rates,— heavies may be qaoted at fiom to .(id; medium 3^d to 4d ; andlight and dry to 5d pel lb. Horse Hides are saleable at irom 6s to 7s for large sues, md 3<» to 5s ior small to medium. Kangaroo ->kins : Large sires can be disposed of at from 18s to 25s ; mediem 10s to 17s ; small 2s to 9s per dozen. Opossum and Wallaby Skins id to 2d each. Hair: Horsetail is worth from 141! to idd; mane 9d to nd ; and mixed 1 id to 13d per Ib. Sh.inkboncs are worth from L6d to Loper ion. Horns' Lmge sizes can be disposed of at norn 20s to 30s pe> 100, and medium ros to 19s. Grain — Iheie is xery little old wheat now available, and we quote from 5s 3d to "js 7d pc- bushel for best lines Oats cm lie dispose d of at from <>s .)d to 2s Oil per bushel. Bran : At our sale this week we rcnli/ed up to 13^*! per bushel, t'ollaid is worth fiom I2id to 13d per bushel.
