Hoises to take their age fiom first Aiifrust. Nominations for Handicaps to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Friday, January 27, 1882, at 8 p.m. Entries for Maiden Plate, President's Stakes, Maiden Steeplechase, and Flying Stakes close on Friday, February 10, at 8 p.m. Weights will be published ou Friday, February 3. Acceptances and general entries will be received up to Friday, February 10, at 8 p.m. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigiee of horse, and colours ot rider. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : 'I hat all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Iheir decision upon all points connected with carrying out of this programme shall be final. All races to be run under tho V.R"O. Rules. Any Jockey riding 1 except in the colora entered will be fined 3ievs. No entry will be received on any pretence ti hatever after the hour named or without being accompanied by the necessity amount of cm>h. All persons intending withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secietary or the Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding osovs. to the Race Fund. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of Ssovs., which sum will be forfeited to the Race Fuud if the protest is not sustained. Owners of horses who are not Members of the Club pay 1 &ov. qualification. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. No percentage off winnings. ROBERT BRADLEY, Secretary.
