Friday. — Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good grazing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2s per week. At Tamahere that afternoon, good grazing at 2s per week at Mr Jared All will's. His dam was an imported marc from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every firstclass prize as a Brood Mare. " Young Wellington " stands 17 hands in height ; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has a wonderful docile temper; has good action, and for symmetry he has not his equal in the Country. " Young Wellington " has proved himself j a sure foal-getter, and thoroughly staunch ! in harness. " Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed.
