It was further agreed that Mr Storey should be asked to superintend the ntafcing of the drain on the swamp road, and that the board should contribute £10 for (the drain into which the outfall was made. It was also resolved that a drain should be constructed up as far as the fall would allow, the distance and the depth to be left to Messrs Storey and Grice. Messrs Scott and 'Fisher were" authorised to gravel a portion of the main road near ,Cogan'sv and' about 14 chains of O'Neill and "Watson's road; The' necretary was instructed to take the necessary steps to advertise" the leasing of the ro«ds in accordance with the act. The rest of the business was of an unimportant character. •
