The average flow of the river above the falls is 10,000,000 cubic feet per minute Convertiug this into horse power under a head of 200 ft, a grand aggregate is obtained of 3»000,000 hprse, power—a mighty force sufficient to supply the economic wants of 200,000,000 people.
