Mr Watt, one of the candidates for Wanganui, addresaeda-lafg©- meeting of electors last night. A vote of thanks and confidence was moved and seconded,, and was followed l?y an, amendment of thanks but not confidence. Me Bryce, who was present, w.as ijalled for, by a section of the audience,, and he cam* on the platform. A great uproar ensued, cheers and hisses mingling.'and cries were raised of "Not an elecipr," ("Ministerial influence," "Undue influence," I , '/Turn him out," and a ,, hpaj^ng {Xt*a refused. The chairman, after " obtaining silence, ruled that Mr Bryce, not being "an elector, was not entitled to speak. The amendment was 'carried. ■
