Paris, December 3.
Rouston, the French President at Tunis, has arrived m this city. It is currently believed he has been superseded in the position, though nothing is definitely known. Gumbetta, President of the Council of Ministers, made a speech to-day, in the course of which he stated his Government would not object to European control oi affairs in Tunis if such was desired b) the Powers.
