rr\O STAND THIS SEASON. The well-known Clydesdale Stallion, "YOUNG WELLINGTON." Will Travel the following places in the Waikato :—: — Monday — Pukerimu, travelling same evening as far as Mr Grice's Farm via Rotoran^i. Tuesday — Rangiaohia, calling at Mr A. Ramsay's, Kihikihi (Mr Corboy's) that evening. Wednesday— Te Awamutu, calling at Mr Rutherford's farm. Thuisday. — Ohaupo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening. Friday. — Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good gracing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2-> per week. At Tamahere that afternoon, good grazing at 2h per week at Mr Jured Allwill's. Saturday. — T.imabere, and Cambridge at Cartel's Stables. He was bied by Mr Patterson, Wanganui. His sire, Wellington, is acknowledged to be one of the finest horses imported to New Zealand. His dam was an imported mare from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every first - cla^s prize as a Brood Mare. " Young Wellington " htands 17 hands in height ; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has ? wonderful docile temper ; has good action, and for symmetry hehasnothiB equal in the country. " Young Wellington " has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and thoroughly staunch in harness. >l Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed. Dead Shot, by Ravensworth (imp.) — Certainty, by II Barbiere— Chance, by Sir Hercules — Finesse, Ravensworth (imp.), by Touchstone—Fair Jean. — See Stud Book. Lbandeb has two crosses of the grand Sir Hercules blood, which has proved to bo the best that has ever been in the colonies ; and he is very closely related to the celebrated horses Grand Flaneur and Progress, and many other good horses. — Dead Shot is the sire of the well-known Mata. Leander is a rich bay, standing 16 hands high, showing immense power, and great quality. Route— Tamahere and Gaudin's Hotel, Monday, Whatawhata and Ngaruawahia, Forenoon Tuesday, Commercial Hotel, Hamilton, Forenoon Wednesday ; Rest of week at Kirkwoods, Cambridge. Good Grass Paddocks will be provided at Kirkwoods, Cambridge. Every care taken, but no responsibility. Terms, £5 5s for single mares ; two or more, the property of one owner, as per agreement. All fees must be paid before the Ist January, 1882. Only a limited number of approved mares will be taken, and owners of mares will do well to ia% spect the horse, as his list is nearly full.
