PLECTOES OF WAIPA; Gentlemen, — I beg to inform you that I HAVE RETIRED FROM THE CONTEST for the honor of representing you in the General Assembly. The chances of success do not seem sufficient to justify me in going to the Poll, aud perhaps thereby indirectly contributing to the defeat of one main object I had in view — the representation of Waipa by a settler of the district.
